Stay connected.

During this time, it's so important to maintain self-care. Both yoga and Tai Chi are helpful in this sense--keeping you connected to yourself and your community.

We have a variety of options to help you maintain your practice.

YouTube Classes

  • We have free classes on YouTube by our various instructors.

  • While the videos are free, the suggested love offering for the use of a video is $10 in order to help cover studio costs while closed.

  • You agree to the disclaimer when using our YouTube videos.

Virtual/Zoom Classes

  • Sign up ("schedule" tab) at least 30 min before class starts

  • You'll be emailed a Zoom link at least 15 min before class begins

  • Click the link; it's recommended that you set up your device so your instructor can see you

  • You can cancel up to 60 min before class starts; if you miss class, you will be sent the recording (available for 10 days)

  • You agree to the disclaimer when participating in Zoom classes.

Exercise is safe for most people. However, as with all exercise programs, you need to use common sense. We recommend you see a doctor before beginning any physical exertion and to cease activity if you feel pain, nausea or experience shortness of breath, lightheadedness or a tingling sensation in your extremities. Please make sure your exercise space is clear and that there are no objects in your way. A good rule of thumb is to clear a space that allows you to walk four steps back and forth and side to side. By participating in this activity, you are participating at your own risk and Rooted Studio shall not be responsible in the event of injury.

In-Person/Group Classes & Private Lessons

  • Markings for mat placements will be 6 feet apart. Class size is limited to 4 people.

  • Bring as few items to the studio as possible. Do not spend time in the lobby; go straight to the next available mat marker on the floor and set up your space. When class is over, please leave promptly.

  • Hand sanitizer and cleaning supplies are available at the studio for use.

  • The studio will thoroughly be cleaned before and after classes for everyone’s safety.

  • If you are not feeling well, please be mindful of others and stay home.

  • Be prepared for cancelled classes- if an instructor is not feeling well, they will cancel the class. Make sure to watch your email and/or Facebook for cancellations.

We honor & respect the fact that not everyone is ready for in-person classes yet. We will continue to offer virtual/Zoom classes as well.
