New to yoga?
Are you flexible?
If your answer is "no," that's perfect!
You don't have to be flexible to do yoga.

What to wear
Your clothes should be loose enough to allow
movement without restriction, but your instructor
should also be able to see your alignment
especially of your joints--knees, ankles, elbows).
You should practice in clean, bare feet.

What to bring
If you have your own mat, please bring it. We have a couple extra mats that you can borrow, but not enough for a full class. As for other equipment, ample blocks, straps, and other props are provided at the studio. You may also want to bring a water bottle.

Other
-
It's not a good idea to eat right before class--yoga is much more comfortable on an empty(ish) belly.
-
Please refrain from wearing strong-smelling perfumes or lotions, as some people are extremely sensitive to smells.
-
If you have an injury or health condition, it is your responsibility to notify your instructor prior to class. Make sure you have doctor clearance before participating.
